When you log into AlertBuddies, the 30-second timer starts automatically. This timer is designed to give you a quick, convenient way to alert your buddies if you're in an emergency. If no action is required, you can easily cancel the timer. If the timer reaches zero, an SOS alert will be sent to your designated buddies.

You can add a buddy by selecting the "Add New Buddy" option in the app. Once your buddies are added, they will be able to monitor your alerts and emergency situations.
